Frequently asked questions
Is iris photography safe?
Yes. The process is completely safe and non-invasive. We use specialist photography equipment designed specifically for iris photography and guide you throughout the session.
Does it hurt or feel uncomfortable?
Not at all. The session is quick and comfortable, and most people are surprised by how easy it is.
Can children have their iris photographed?
Yes. We regularly photograph children, as long as they are comfortable and able to sit still for a short time. We’ll always take things at their pace.
Do I need to remove glasses or contact lenses?
Glasses will need to be removed for the photograph. Contact lenses are usually fine as long as they are not coloured.
How long does a session take?
The photography itself takes just a few minutes. You can then choose how you’d like to finish your artwork, including prints or acrylic wall art.
Do I need to decide what to buy in advance?
No. All sizes, finishes, and products are chosen after your session, once you’ve seen your artwork.
Do I need to book in advance?
Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, but booking ahead is recommended to avoid waiting.
