How is The Snap Shot different from other providers?

We focus on authenticity, maintaining your natural iris colours, and offer a free preview before you pay. Our process is personal, friendly, and satisfaction is guaranteed—only pay if you love your artwork. We’re a local, family-run business offering a more accessible and affordable service than larger brands.

Where are you located and when are you open?

You’ll find us on the ground floor of The Dolphin Shopping Centre, Poole. We’re open weekends from 10am to 5pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm Sundays.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers are available. Please contact us directly to purchase a voucher for any amount or session type.

Booking & Appointments

How do I book a session?
You can book online through our website, contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp, or message us on Facebook. Walk-ins are welcome if we have availability, but booking ahead is recommended.
Do I need to book in advance or can I walk in?

Booking in advance guarantees your slot, especially during busy times. Walk-ins are possible if there’s availability.

Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Yes, just contact us as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel. There’s no fee for changes or cancellations.
Is a deposit required?

No deposit is needed. You only pay after you see and approve your photo preview.

Pricing & Payment

How much does a session cost?
Sessions are £40 per person, which includes your iris photography session, professional editing, and a high-resolution digital copy.
Are there extra charges for effects or enhancements?

Yes, special effects or enhancements are optional and cost £10 per person.

What are the prices for prints and frames?
Print and framing prices vary by size and material. Photo prints, acrylics, and canvas options are available, with frames starting from £20. See our Pricing page for full details.
When and how do I pay?
Payment is taken after you approve your preview at the stall. We accept major cards and cash.
Is there a discount for families or groups?
Our pricing is £40 per person, with no minimum or maximum group size. For large groups, contact us to discuss custom arrangements.

The Iris Photography Process

What happens during the session?
We’ll take a close-up photo of each person’s iris using specialist equipment. The process is quick and comfortable. You’ll preview your image before committing—no charge unless you love it!
Can children have their iris photographed?
Yes! Children are welcome. Very young children may need a little patience, but we’ll do our best to get a great shot.
How long does the process take?
The photography itself takes just a few minutes per person. The whole session is usually completed within 10–15 minutes, depending on group size.
Can I preview my photo before committing?
Absolutely. You’ll see a free preview before you pay, and only proceed if you’re happy with the result.

Artwork, Prints & Digital Copies

What print sizes and formats do you offer?
We offer a range of options:
  • Photo prints (7x5, A4, A3, A2)
  • Acrylic prints (various sizes, including large formats)
  • Canvas framing
  • Digital copies
Can I order a digital copy only?
Yes! Your session fee includes a digital copy. You can decide on prints or enhancements at any time in the future.
How long does it take to receive my artwork?
Most orders are ready in 1–3 weeks. We’ll confirm your turnaround time at your session and keep you updated.
Can I order more prints or different sizes later?
Yes, you can order additional prints, sizes, or formats at any time after your session. Just get in touch and we’ll help you with your order.

What if I’m not happy with my artwork?
No problem! You’ll see a free preview and go through a design approval process before printing. If you’re not satisfied, there’s no charge.

Yes. Your iris image is treated like any standard photograph and is never used for biometric or identification purposes. Your privacy is always respected.
