Who We Are

We’re Eric, Shopna & Tia, the team behind The Snap Shot, based primarily in Poole within The Dolphin Centre on weekends.

How It All Began

The idea for The Snap Shot started on a holiday in Hamburg, where we first discovered iris photography. The concept was simple but captivating: transform the natural patterns and colours of the eye into stunning, personalized artwork. After returning to the UK, we realized there was a gap in the market for this kind of creative service—so we decided to bring it home and make it accessible for everyone.

What is Iris Photography?

Iris photography is a creative process that focuses on capturing a close-up image of your eye. Using specialized equipment and careful lighting, we photograph your iris and then enhance the details with professional editing software. We’re committed to preserving the natural colours and intricate patterns that make every iris unique—no filters or artificial effects, just the real you.

It’s important to note: our process is completely safe and private. We don’t use biometric scanning or store sensitive data—just beautiful, high-quality photos.

Our iris portraits are perfect for individuals, couples, and families. Many of our customers are young to middle-aged women with partners or families, but we welcome everyone!

What to Expect When You Visit

When you stop by our stall, we’ll walk you through the entire process. The session takes just 5–10 minutes, and you’ll get to preview your photo before making a decision. We offer a variety of print options—photo prints, acrylics, and canvas framing—as well as digital copies if you’d like to share your artwork online.

Once you’ve chosen your favourite design, we’ll professionally edit and prepare your artwork. Most orders are ready within a week or two, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
